This is an excellent way to help stimmulate student thinking and develop communication skills for the 21st century. It also develops written language. It provides me with a way to communicate with parents and have parents communicate with their children.

One of the ideas I found intriguing today was the possibilities blogs have for strengthening the home/school connection and involving parents. I think it would be interesting to see a project or activity that focused on this as a goal outside of learning. I wonder if parents would get involved. And of course the question of home access comes up again. How do those without computers at home participate in such an experience? The students and parents with no access could probably benefit most from this sort of connection. I would be interested in helping to develop such a project.
